Longueuil, January 26, 2017 – Snow and cold won’t stop campers from dreaming of their next camping season! They can already start planning their 2017 vacation on February 1, with the very latest edition of the Quebec Campground Guide, listing 896 campgrounds across the province.

The guide, produced for the fifth straight year by Camping Québec, the association of Quebec campground operators, comes in print and digital versions (campingquebec.com), and makes it easy for novice and experienced campers alike to find that perfect location. The 2017 edition features bilingual content, campgrounds divided up by tourist region, detailed maps of each region and highly legible campground fact sheets thanks to attractive symbols.

Hundreds of campgrounds take part in many Camping Québec promotions, such as the two nights at a campground for $50, on May 26 and 27 this year. The symbols indicating these special offers are also in the guide, so it pays for campers to read it carefully!

The most reliable information

Since 2014, Camping Québec has been the organization recognized by the Minister of Tourism for the classification of campground establishments and also produces, publishes and distributes the Quebec Campground Guide. The information it contains was collected objectively as part of the classification process, making it the only source of such reliable and up-to-date data on Quebec campgrounds.

Published annually since 1963, the publication is an invaluable companion for camping enthusiasts from Quebec and elsewhere, who can choose from an ever-expanding list of campgrounds.
