Launch of the 2019 Quebec Campground Guide


The most valuable reference tool on Quebec campgrounds since 1963

 Longueuil, February 12, 2019. — With 950 campgrounds, Quebec has plenty of diverse, high-quality sites to offer campers, whose numbers keep growing and growing. As of February 12, 2019, camping enthusiasts will be able to get their hands on the most recent Quebec Campground Guide, an indispensable reference tool containing every campground in the province.

Published for the 57th straight year and produced by Camping Québec, the association of Quebec campground operators, the guide is available in print and digital versions ( The Guide helps novice and experienced campers alike find the perfect campground. Detailed, bilingual and containing easy-to-read pictograms, the Guide has the most up-to-date and reliable information on campgrounds in Quebec. Campgrounds are organized by tourist region, and campers can search each geographic region using the detailed maps provided. This year's Guide will feature campgrounds that offer lodgings, winter camping and heated pools.

Camping cookery with Bob the Chef

New this year, Bob the Chef (l'Anarchie culinaire (culinary anarchy)) shares tips and two of his recipes for creating memorable camping meals, while the Association des commerçants de véhicules récréatifs du Québec (ACVRQ) and Leclerc Insurance and Financial Services offer RV enthusiasts different tips and tricks for getting the camping season off to a safe start.

Take advantage of different offers to save

Hundreds of campgrounds also take part in many Camping Québec promotions, like the popular “2 nights of camping for $50” on May 24 and 25 and September 6 and 7 2019, the new “Go Camping Québec” mobile app for electronic discounts, and the most recent addition, the “Late check-out time” program. It pays for campers to look for the “special offer” symbols as they use the Guide!

The most reliable information

Since 2014, Camping Québec has been the organization recognized by the Quebec Minister of Tourism for the classification of camping establishments, and also publishes, produces and distributes the Quebec Campground Guide.

The information it contains was collected objectively as part of the classification process, making it the only source of such reliable and up-to-date data on Quebec campgrounds. Campers from all over can count on the Guide, published annually since 1963.
