Among the new features this year, users of the Guide will find campground fact sheets with photos and personalized descriptions, as well as the number of turnkey camping units and minimum and maximum prices for renting them.
Hundreds of campgrounds also take part in many Camping Québec promotions, like the popular “2 nights of camping for $50” on May 25 and 26 and September 7 and 8, the new “Go Camping Québec” mobile app for electronic discounts, and the most recent addition, the “Late check-out time” program. It pays for campers to look for the “special offer” symbols as they use the Guide!

Campers will also want to check out the campingquebec.com website, featuring a search engine with many criteria, including the option of displaying campgrounds by their opening dates. There are photo galleries and detailed plans of campgrounds, tips and advice, and even a section for seasonal campers. The site is designed for any platform, from mobile phones to tablets and regular computers.
Camping Québec is an association with more than 730 campground operator members from the private and public sectors who represent nearly 90% of the province’s campgrounds. Founded in 1962, its mission is to encourage and support the growth and development of the camping industry and promote camping as a recreational activity in Quebec. It is also the organization recognized by the Minister of Tourism for the classification of campgrounds in the province.
