Launch of the New Quebec Campground Guide

Share
Longueuil, February 12, 2018 – Camping remains popular with Quebecers – in fact they’re planning their next season earlier all the time! Starting February 12, 2018, camping enthusiasts can get their hands on the latest Quebec Campground Guide, a reference tool that covers some 925 campgrounds across the province this year.

Published for the 56th straight year and put out by Camping Québec, the association of Quebec campground operators, the guide is available in print and digital versions (campingquebec.com). For both novice and experienced campers, it’s the perfect way to find the campground they’re looking for. The 2018 edition has bilingual content, campgrounds divided up by tourist region, detailed maps of each region and highly legible campground fact sheets thanks to attractive symbols.

Lots of new features!

Among the new features this year, users of the Guide will find campground fact sheets with photos and personalized descriptions, as well as the number of turnkey camping units and minimum and maximum prices for renting them.

Hundreds of campgrounds also take part in many Camping Québec promotions, like the popular “2 nights of camping for $50” on May 25 and 26 and September 7 and 8, the new “Go Camping Québec” mobile app for electronic discounts, and the most recent addition, the “Late check-out time” program. It pays for campers to look for the “special offer” symbols as they use the Guide!

The most reliable information

Since 2014, Camping Québec has been the organization recognized by the Quebec Minister of Tourism for the classification of camping establishments, and also publishes, produces and distributes the Quebec Campground Guide. The information it contains was collected objectively as part of the classification process, making it the only source of such reliable and up-to-date data on Quebec campgrounds.

Published annually since 1963, the publication is an invaluable companion for camping enthusiasts from near and far, who can choose from an ever-expanding list of campgrounds in Quebec.
