Camping in the Mingan Archipelago what a nice way to enjoy what the islands have to offer to the fullest. Imagine… after an exhilarating day of hiking with your loved ones during which you admired amazing landscapes and exceptional flora and fauna you’ll be able to relax over a great meal while admiring the sun set over the sea. Your night will be rocked by the sound of the waves and the blow of the whales.From rustic to all-inclusive Parks Canada has accommodation options to suit every taste and comfort level. With your own equipment you can do some wilderness camping on six islands (Île Nue de Mingan Île à la Chasse Grande Île Île du Havre île Quarry and île Niapiskau). Do you prefer a ready-to-camp concept? The six oTENTik tents of île Quarry are for you! A cross between a tent and a rustic cabin they are furnished heated lit and all equipped.

Directions

Access to Longue-Pointe-de-Mingan and Havre-Saint-Pierre by Road 138. From there to access the park reserve don’t forget to plan your travel arrangements by checking the availability of marine transports and make a reservation beforehand with a marine transportation company recognised by Parks Canada. You could also use your personal boat.
