Four Ways to Get More out of S’mores

S’mores are delicious dessert sandwiches made with marshmallows, Graham crackers and chocolate. They’re the ultimate summertime treat. Find out new ways to make an old favourite.

Camping classic

Around a campfire, S’mores are a long-time favourite. Take a long stick or skewer so you don’t get burned, place a marshmallow at one end and roast over the fire to your preferred crispiness. Then sandwich your marshmallow between two Graham crackers and a piece of chocolate, and bite into the sweet taste of summer! Use whatever chocolate you like best: white, dark, salted, mint, orange, strawberry, and more.

Dipped S’mores

Want another great way to enjoy S’mores? Try a sweet marbled dip—ready in no time! 

1 - Melt

Melt chocolate and marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler.

2 - Stir

Stir gently with a wooden spoon until you get a marbled effect.

3 - Place

Place Graham crackers in another bowl next to the mix and invite guests to dip in!


Expert Tip: Just like traditional fondue, you can also dip strawberries or any other fruit you have on hand!

Try S’mores lollipops! These tasty bites are perfect for a party. 

1 - Pierce 

Pierce a large marshmallow with a wooden stick.

2 - Dip

Dip marshmallow in melted chocolate. 

3 - Roll

Roll in Graham cracker crumbs.


Expert TipFor a salty-sweet treat, use pretzel sticks instead of wooden ones. The salt pieces will deliciously offset the sweetness of the chocolate!

Take advantage of BBQ season to enjoy S’mores. It’s a fun dish you can just serve in the centre of the table for everyone to share! 

1 - Start

Start with a cast iron pan.

2 - Place

Place Graham crackers at the bottom of the pan.

3 - Add

Add chocolate and top with marshmallows.

4 - Place

Place the cast-iron pan on the BBQ.

5 - Cover

If you wish, cover the pan with aluminum foil to speed up cooking, then remove just before it’s done.


Expert Tip: For a gourmet twist, add a layer of chocolate-chip cookie dough on top of the Graham crackers. It’s enough to tempt everyone’s sweet tooth!
