First-aid kit

What should go in your first-aid kit?

Summer is here and you’re all ready for new camping adventures!
Is your first-aid kit ready, too?
Here are a few things to check, to make sure you have a safe summer:
  • Is there enough of everything, and is it in good condition?
  • Have the disinfectant pads and drugs passed their expiry date?
  • Would it be a good idea to brush up on your first-aid skills?
…… Just so you know what to do in an emergency and how to use the contents of your first-aid kit!
Every good first-aid kit should contain:

• Disinfectant pads (no alcohol, it burns!)
• Adhesive bandages (different sizes and shapes)
• Adhesive tape
• Sterile gauze compresses
 • Roll of gauze
 • Cold pack
• Triangular bandage with safety pins

• Several pairs of surgical gloves
• Face protector for cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• First-aid manual

• Tube of antibiotic ointment
• Sting and bite relief pen or pad

• Anti-diarrheal
• Pain relievers and anti-inflammatories
