Camping in Quebec

A little bit of history...

Over the years, the descendants of the original French and English colonists have been joined by some 700,000 other immigrants from around the globe, bringing Quebec’s population to over 8 million. Nearly 70,000 Natives belonging to ten First Nations and 9,000 Inuit live in about fifty villages dotted across the province.

This cultural diversity and the use of French as a common language have created a fabulous blend of tradition and modernity, with a particular energy and joie de vivre found only in Quebec. That must be why there are so many festivals, gourmet tour routes and local celebrations to enjoy!
