Directions

The Rouge-Matawin wildlife reserve, shared between the Lanaudière and Laurentides (Laurentians) regions, has two watersheds and two distinct characters: to the west, the Rouge river and its tributaries, sometimes rushing and sometimes lazy, home to speckled trout; to the east, the meandering and mysterious Matawin river and its tributaries, overflowing with northern pike.
