The Bourassa association was formed in 1977, with Claude Durand as the first
President. In 1989, President Mimi Francis asked that the name of the association
be changed to ARCC Montreal/Bourassa.
The Montreal/Bourassa region extends across the Island of Montreal in the
shadow of the Olympic Stadium, to Saint-Laurent Blvd. in the west and the tip
of the island in the east.
The association marked its 25th anniversary with a rally on the theme of “25
years of love… worth celebrating!” A season opening rally was organized
in 1990 and a season closing rally was held in 2002 on the theme of Harry Potter.
The Board of Directors of the Montreal/Bourassa association is pleased to
invite all members to join in its activities in 2005.
