Montréal/Lac St-Louis (12)
Regional camping and RVing association
The Montréal/Lac St-Louis regional association was created in November 1980. Today we have 1,440 member families. In 2005, we will be celebrating 25 years. The event won't go unnoticed!
The Montréal/Lac St-Louis region is one of the loveliest in and around Montreal. It extends from St-Laurent Boulevard westward, including Nuns' Island and its magnificent view of the St. Lawrence, the Champlain Bridge and the ice bridge. Then there are the boroughs of Verdun and LaSalle. Continue along the River and you'll see magnificent panoramas on your way to Lachine, where Lac St-Louis greets you with its marina and boats. From there visitors can explore the boroughs of Dorval, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue and Île-Perrot. Still farther west lies fabulous Lac de Deux-Montagnes, a paradise for boaters and windsurfers and a great place for ice fishing in winter. Then follow Highway 40 west to the boundary of our region at Pointe-Fortune (the Ontario border). If you take Highway 20, our region ends at Rivière-Baudette. Visitors who take this route will cross through the pastoral scenery of Valleyfield, Côteau-du-lac and the historic sites of Côteau-Landing and its beaches and St-Zotique, on the edge of Lac St-François. The Le Sablon beach in St-Polycarpe and Lac Saint-François in Rivière-Beaudette are also worth a visit. Our region offers such wonderful landscapes. Montréal/Lac St-Louis is really the most beautiful region! Come see for yourself!
