Québec Métropolitain (06)
Regional camping and RVing association
Our region, created on November 25, 1980, now has the largest number of families of all the regional associations in the Federation (4,032 families as at July 31, 2004), a fact we are very proud to report.
The greater Quebec City tourist region extends along the St. Lawrence for over 200 km, from Montmagny to Leclercville in Lotbinière on the south shore opposite Quebec City, from St-Marc-des-Carrières to Tadoussac on the North Shore and as far as Boileau and Mont Apica in the Laurentides wildlife reserve.
This is indisputably the region where Quebec's nature and culture are the most accessible for campers looking for an exceptional outdoor experience. Some of our villages are considered the prettiest in the whole province. For those seeking more urban pleasures, the Old Capital with its architecture and museums is the ideal destination.
Explore our tourist attractions, see how the region is a paradise for cyclists and birdwatchers, hike or bike through the woods, slip a canoe into the water
there's no end of things to do and ways to enjoy the glories of nature.
You can explore our heritage and cultural wealth as you head downstream along the shores of the St. Lawrence.
Our association offers a remarkable range of activities. Whether you enjoy the cultural tours, sporting events, children's program, excellent meals, entertainment at gatherings or simply the pleasure of meeting old friends and making new ones, it's always fun to take part in the activities organized by the Québec Métropolitain Association.
