The Havre-Saint-Pierre municipal campground opened to the public in 1982. Measuring 92,000 sq. metres, it is located near the sea. Each of its 88 sites has a picnic table and fire pit. There is a dumping station for RVs and fifth wheels just near the reception. In 2004, the campground was a winner in the Tourisme Québec regional awards.
