For every taste and budget
Tents and RVs come in an almost infinite variety. Take the time to shop around and ask questions before deciding what to buy. You can also try turnkey camping to get started and find out what suits you best.
Tent
One of the world’s oldest types of accommodation still has millions of fans: a tent! Sleeping from one to a dozen people, tents sometimes come with one or more vestibules and even a kitchenette covered in mosquito netting. For those who like to get close to nature.
Tent trailer
Tent trailers fold down for easy transportation and storage. Light, simple to pull and inexpensive, tent trailers are ideal for young families interested in camping with a certain level of comfort.
Truck camper
A truck camper (or detachable motorhome) is installed on the back of a pickup truck. Make sure the model you choose is the right one for your truck, and you’ll enjoy this easy-to-handle combo. Great for off-road camping, in comfort!
Traditional trailer and fifth wheel
These two types of RV have to be towed by a strong vehicle. A fifth wheel hooks onto a truck body. A traditional trailer can also be pulled by a sports utility vehicle (SUV). With a kitchen, bedroom(s), audio-video corner and storage space, this type of RV gives you peace and quiet and room to move around.
Motorhome
There are three categories of motorhomes: Class A, B and C.
Class A motorhome
This model looks rather like a bus on the outside, and a condo on the inside. Class A motorhomes have all the luxuries you could want. Spacious extensions, queen- or king-size bed, flat-screen television, top-quality finishes ... the possibilities are endless!
Class B and C motorhomes
These are actually modified vans, with a raised roof and lowered floor, sleeping nook, shower, kitchenette – all the comforts of a tiny home. Amazing, isn’t it? And they are as easy to drive as a regular van and can be parked anywhere. Class C models are slightly larger, with an additional bed over the cab. They are less spectacular than class A motorhomes, but also easier on the budget!
